Well, I got the Doujinshi!

After my college orientation this past Monday, I took the bus to Anime Castle, andgot lost on my way bought the Code Geass Knight doujinshi. The cover is probably the most beautiful thing in the book, but all the stories are well drawn, and are fun to read too. Funny how CG is one of the only anime that I can tolerate mindless crack with. And while crack is always a good thing, sometimes it's just too bizzare and it turns me off.

And. When I went into the city yesterday, I stopped off at Kinokuniya. I originally went to see if they sold Newtype Magazine (and they did, but they didn't have the newest issue out, so I didn't buy it). On the same rack, they had a bunch of Japanese manga magazines for cheap - $7.50 for the most expensive one! - and I was circling the table, much to the amusement of a little Japanese boy, for a good 5 minutes. I couldn't make up my mind for the life of me, so I said, 'Okay, forget this, lets see what CD's they have'. So I went upstairs, and saw a whole bunch of things I wanted to buy for a long time, including the 2nd K-On!! OP (I bought 'Listen!' last month), the newest K-On!! theme songs, the Ladies vs. Butlers OP, Code Geass R2 soundtrack, the Ookami-san ED, and some compilation CD which I can't recall. I almost bought them all at least 5 times each. Just before I went back downstairs to pay, I saw the Sengoku Basara OP single that I just found on the Internet the same morning. Without thinking I grabbed that.... and spent the rest of my money. My mom is gonna FLIP once she finds out. But I got to leech food off my dad who conveniently works in the area. So it's all good.

The CD came with a DVD that shows T.M. Revolution at the 2008 Live singing 3 songs, one including the Soul Eater OP. For me who was a big fan of him since I heard the RK ending on TV when I was little, that was a nice bonus. :D I'll upload it on request.

I made a Japanese Ameba blog yesterday for the lolz, even though I didn't get to update it yet. I was too busy fooling around with the games. xD For those of you who may care: you may click this link. I kinda like the animated layout I chose. It impresses me a bit. :3

I'm also going to the Mitsuwa Marketplace Summer Festival. The closest thing you can get to a Japanese Festival without going to Japan! =D Sometimes it pays to use Twitter.

Oh, and lastly, I have a Play Asia coupon I got about a month ago that expires September 4. Yeah, I should have posted before this, but I didn't, mostly because I thought I was going to use it before this, and second it's hard to remember to have stuck that in my previously lengthy post. The first person to comment in this entry will receive the coupon. I believe that's fair.

Until next time~!
