Don't forget KIpper, Iggy (and Regehr) have no trade clauses. I thought Dion had one too? Guess not. I always thought that ifhe asked them to waive them, or if they asked for a trade, it would go down quietly and we'd all be caught by surprise when the trade actually happened (the Dion trade). Then again the Jokinen one leaked early, so...

I'm kind of doubtful as to the Flames making the post-season too... though I'd love to be surprised! I am also unsure about Kotalik and his contract. Olli's face post-game and post-trade was so sad! :(

Dion was done here. He quit playing for the most part. If you don't believe me then you needed to see him play live a few times to see just how much he didn't have any passion for the game with this team anymore. He gave away the puck all the time plus if a puck was lying within his reach, he would wait for someone else to get it, many times that being the other team. There were HUGE locker room issues going on ( ... )

I wonder why Kotalik had a NTC that referenced Calgary... do you have any ideas?

I can't say I know for sure but I would bet it was because he was sent to Edmonton and apparently hated it there so he may have equated Calgary with Edmonton as a place to be.
