Welcome home. We had planned a Write Club this week, but you were out of town. Going to be in town this Wednesday? I have short storyage ready, thanks to rampant insomnia last night.

Man, I miss Stucky's. I remember growing up you'd see a ton of them when you took family road trips...

Yeah, they still had all the Stuckey's brand munchies, but all the belt buckles, Indian headdresses, scorpions in bolo ties, and stuff like that...nowhere to be seen.

Still, Stuckey's!

We saw two.

There's one on the way up to Palo Duro Canyon, and I want to head up there by mid May before it gets too hot.

So does the strip club feature dancing ponies? Even the sign looks incredibly sleazy; I'm impressed.

Yes, it looked very, very sleazy.

I've never been in a strip club, but I can appreciate how campy that place looked from the outside.

Considering the area, I'm imagining the inside is a very scary place...

Sorry to hear about darthcynthia's dad, but I'm glad you got to see him. Not sure what the situation is, but I also hope for the best for you all.

Cool pics though, I have a mission to do the Route 66 drive from LA to Chicago.

It's very hard when a parent is really sick, my Mum had issues a few years ago and it was very stressful. I'm glad to hear your dad is doing better, and all the best for your grandmother also.
