It's okay, hon. Having 287 pairs of shoes doesn't mean you get 14 points for that question.

(Or, uh, yeah. I actually think the bogusness of this one was amusing. Some 14-year-old is going to be surprised about life in the real world.)

being generous with the points, I get 22. It's odd, I was way behind until the travel -- you've been to Europe but not NY or the west coast?

I would claim NY on a travel purity test, but not here. I've driven through NYC, once: going up to Boston, Stephanie wanted to stop at the Vince Lombardi Service Center on the NJ Turnpike, which is practically in NYC. So we drove on through town and continued up I-95 out the other side. It was 2 in the morning and we didn't stop (other than the service center), though.

Two sides of my family live in NY, as did a long distance girlfriend, I've also been there for business and I've even stayed for a long weekend getaway just for fun. So I'm not really arguing NY.

But, as one example, it can hardly be argued that I was spoiled by the few hard months I worked my tail off doing manual labor under the poverty line in Hawaii. Otherwise, sure, having a 401k is questionable -- I don't own other stock, etc. And come to think of it I don't think of it the original art (local quality) I have isn't framed. Or hanging. Hm.
