Hah, I have a feeling a certain jolly cfs Doctor stuck me ont he exact same mg and the same B12.
I'm on the MP as you know but I don't think it made a wiff of difference.
He stuck me on 3 capsa day of mg, it made me really nauseas & gave me bad stomach crampms so I would suggest, to be safe, take it after a good meal.
The b12 gave me muscle & joint pain & made me really drwosy for 24-32 hours after taking it. I was taking it in the morning though on the chance it would give me energy.. I rest anyway.
I have given up both now. Apparently if the B12 makes you feel shit it will eventually make you feel better, but the MP is working for me so I had no reason to add shit on top of shit on top of shit.. if that makes sense.
I took the full ampule of B12 to start & injected myself into my stomach. It's not half as creepy as it sounds. The liquid is thick so I could kind of feel it going in.. but not painful, just strange.
A certain doctor, indeed.splodgenoodlesJune 24 2008, 11:00:31 UTC
I reckon you might be right. :-)
I took it yesterday (at noon). Didn't notice anything much but today I am absolutely cactus. Not sure if it's the B12 or not. But drowsy and feel like gravity has been cranked up several notches.
Just popping by (and hoping you have comments landing in your inbox somewhere or you'll never see this one) to update you.
I've had three injections now, over about four weeks. The first two were 1/2 ampoule, last one was 3/4.
And I've been feeling *lousy*. The magnesium has been going up and down a bit: I've also gotten depressed and my stomach's been funny (I have Crohn's Disease, just for added fun :-/ ). Not quite sure how much is the magnesium, how much is the Crohn's.
Hoping to catch up with the doctor this week. I'm not planning on taking anymore b12 unless he okays it.
I did the B-12 intramuscular, and magnesium orally. I eventually did intramuscular magnesium (ouch!) and finally magnesium by IV. It did nothing for me. Hope it works for you better than it did for me.
