I love Labs. My favorite late uncle had one that was just the sweetest pup in the world and so funny! I miss them both and my aunt has a new one now, but I haven't met him yet.

I have the moo-sprog issue with my cats more than my dog. Prolly because my dog sounds like a whole battalion of vicious hounds when she barks. XD And I'll say this till I'm blue in the face -- I never disturb service dogs, or any dogs for that matter unless it's tiny and fluffy (cat person; tiny and fluffy works for whatever! XD) and I have permission from the owner. Most pet owners are very happy to have polite people giving their dogs or cats a little pat on the head. Hell, you can usually tell which ones are more willing. If you know how to read body language, that is, and most babystalkers lack this skill.

Some people really need to grow a brain. If I see a service dog and I want to pet it, I ask the owner for permission first. If they say no, then I don't. Simple as that, goes for all dogs really.

i am the sort of person who will get down on the ground and roll around with any friendly dog i encounter, but i thought everyone knew you don't pet or feed service dogs unless you're their owner and/or they're clearly 'off duty'.
