Working on Yenpress submission-Day 1

Today (and well for the past month), I’ve kinda be trying to avoid working on “Oeclair”. Its  one shot for Yenpress amateur talent search.

One-shots I definitely find harder than long form comics, but I've done a fair few now and managed to place in the Jiman competition and finalist in the old uk rsom, so I have a few thoughts on what works ( ... )

sorry for waiting so long to reply.
Those are diffinetly helpful hints.

I've only visualized the 1st page, but now I might need to change it since I think the 1st page will be on the left. I find it funny that american publishers don't understand the importance of telling us where the page will land. Unless yen doesnt care and will just print it based on what we submit.

I'm thinking that I will keep things simple but well done. as much I like extreme fore-shorting, I not great at it and would rather not use it much.

I wont be posting the pages for free viewing online, but would you be interested in giving your opinion on my roughs?

Sure, I'd be happy to give feedback if you want it.
Simple but well done is by far the best course of action. The best pro comics tend to be like that anyway. Keep it clear, consistent and confident.
