Just this morning, after my first psychology class last night (which was great), I was feeling grateful that flamenco isn't the only thing I love, the only thing I identify with. But I don't agree that you will be limited to only copying forever. You will soon have the tools to create your own flamenco style, and through your intense love for it, make it something new. My teacher Defne is a beautiful example of this. No gypsy blood in the girl (she's from Wisconsin) but she is a definitive, innovative, and very flamenca dancer. She makes it her own.
