I am not sure where to put this really but I had to say something to get this off my chest. Is it just me or is the world rather screwed up at the moment? With the current situations in Iran and now Honduras it seems someone has thrown a giant sheet over common sense with the international community

I'm of much the same opinion on the issues. However, in Iran's case there's really very little evidence of fraud despite the outcry. Granted it could just be so prevalent or so deep in the government that you can't tell what's valid and what's not. The only way I think it could be considered valid is if a third-party (The U.N. most likely) worked to establish an election for Iran. But that would only happen if Iran allowed it, which they will not because it'd be going against the Supreme Leader's authority.

I do think that Obama and the U.S. are doing the right thing in the case of Iran by staying out of the issue and only speaking on the issue when directly questioned about it. It's not our country and neither side in their election wants our intervention.

I'm not sure how free 'n' fair the Iranian elections were, though remember that country is a dictatorship, so they can control pretty much everything on that one. Same goes for china in a similar fashion.
