Is it the end?

I am not sure where to put this really but I had to say something to get this off my chest. Is it just me or is the world rather screwed up at the moment? With the current situations in Iran and now Honduras it seems someone has thrown a giant sheet over common sense with the international community.

I know the Untied States still has problems with the results of Bush in dealing with Iraq and Afghanistan but these new situations I feel shouldn't be dealt with the care they seem to be given.

I mean with Iran it seems the international community as a whole is being blackmailed to keep the madman of a president. They have in power because some holier than thou religious leader says it must be so, even though the people within the country said that isn't so and demand a recount with the election but aren't given that. This is a country that has nuclear ambitions and the world seems to be brushing it off when if they had a new president he might be more willing to work with the world.

Meanwhile in Honduras it seems to me that the people there were overly concerned with their elected offical trying to rewrite their constitution as to allow him to become essentially a dictator so they did I feel the right thing in ousting him before that occured. But the UN and the rest of the world wants to jump down the country's throat for it just because the outsted offical cried to them saying it was unfair.

I realize I know almost nothing of world politics or how the game is played but I feel these situations are severely lacking in common sense.
