Why they say "No news is good news"

Wow. Been a long time since I posted here, hasn't it? It only stands to reason that the only reason I'm getting around to it tonight is to pass on news that's not any fun at all. :-P

odogoddess is sick. She's been feeling kinda lousy since last week, then on Sunday she got a killer headache, body aches and other assorted goodies to go with it. Since she' ( Read more... )

Thanks very much. She's feeling better today. The x-ray turned out clear, so Dr. thinks it's viral bronchitis. She's got some new meds and an injunction to do as little as possible. All in all, we're quite relieved.

Yes, give her a big hug, lots of soup, and our love. And take care of yourself along with the dog, cat, whoever, too.

I'm glad neither of you were near a train yesterday.

Thanks very much, Holly. We're working on it. She's feeling better today, and the Dr. thinks she's got viral bronchitis, as the chest x-ray turned up clear. I've got stock in the crockpot and it'll be soup for dinner, definitely. :-)

And yeah, we were glad not to have been near that train wreck, either. It's probably less than a mile from Aunt T's place. I called her yesterday morning and she'd been avidly watching the news reports on it since 6am. %-}

Many, many hugs to you both, and go get some rest yourself, caregivers need sleep too!

Thanks! We're both feeling better today, which is probably partly due to her new meds and partly the relief of hearing that she hasn't got pneumonia! The Dr's saying viral bronchitis, so she's to get as much rest as possible and take her new meds and see how it goes. Unless she starts hacking up psychedelic alien slime, he thinks it should clear up without any drastic measures. So keep fingers crossed. :-)

gah! :( tell her to get better soon!

{{{{{{{{{{{{J&C}}}}}}}}}}}}}} (and you need the hugs too.)

i'd send Meru to take watch but she would probly spend time fighting with your fur-roomies instead of her duty.

Thanks, hon, I will. We're both awfully tired, but at least she's breathing a lot better now. The new meds seem to be helping a lot.

Tell Meru we appreciate the thought, but I can just see her and Percy taking turns chasing each other around the house...and around...and around...and around...

Leeta would probably try to wash her and then want to play. That dog is such a ditz. *g*

....and around.....and around....LOL.

i'd love for you two to meet her some day, but i do warn you. she is a BRAT.

she never goes outside yet some poor stray passing by minding his or her own business gets an earful out the window! :shakes head:

and now a little amusement to brighten both your days:
there's a male in the neighborhood that is a dead ringer for her (EXACT fur pattern) except for having the build of a male. i have dubbed him Taban and starting poking fun at her about it. :snicker:

me: "hey Meru, your boyfriend is here!"
her: :hissspitsnarlhissssssssss!:
Taban: :Unimpressed-Bored-Are-You-Through-Yet Look(tm):

;)
