So I believed I have decided on where I would like to go for summer hols.

Mummy and Daddy aren't pleased that I decided to stay for so long, but really, what do I care? I do, but they only want me around for their little parties. It's my last summer before my last year of Hogwarts. There mere fact I've survived is a cause for celebration. Survived ( Read more... )

"I just like the esthetically pleasing, lovely," Cecilia told him keenly. She dug into the bottom of her bag until she found her sunglasses. Finally, she pulled them out and placed them onto her face.

"And that goes for more than just your backyard," she told him with a smug little smile on her face.

"Oh, ho, ho, ho," he laughed while putting the sunglasses back onto his face. He pointed at her and grinned.

His head felt light, but he knew he wasn't drunk yet, so he grabbed the bottle of Grey Goose and took a few more sips.

"It must be the hottest day of Summer, so far," he said, glancing back over at Cecilia. "I love it."

"You would," she told him simply, before her eyes caught sight of the emptying bottle.

She rolled her eyes slightly behind her sunglasses and made a slight face. She turned to look at him as she lowered her sunglasses slightly.

"Just don't get all sloppy drunk, will you?" she asked, not bothering to sugarcoat what she was saying. "You're a lot more fun when you can stand properly."

"I'm barely tipsy," he said honestly.

"Don't worry about it."

He sat up after a moment, deciding he wants to go swimming. Without wasting any time, he dove into the pool.

"Will you be joining me?" he asked once he returned to the surface.

She shook her head with silent laughter. She sat up, letting her legs straddle the sides of the chair as she leaned forward slightly. She could always count on Alex to be slightly random and impulsive.

"I suppose I could," she said, shrugging. "It is incredibly hot out."

Alexandre began to go a backstroke while waiting for her to get in.

"Hurry up then, will you?"

Pulling off her sunglasses, she set them neatly on the chair behind her before getting up. Pulling her hair out of its ponytail, she shook out her blonde curls before coming to the edge.

"You are incredibly impatient," she told him. "Has anyone ever told you that before?"

But she didn't wait for his reply before diving straight into the water.

Once she had resurfaced, he said, "Just about everyone I've ever met."

Bumping into one of the pool toys (this one being an inflatable whale), Alexandre grabbed it and straddled it.

Cecilia flipped her hair back, smoothing it out with her hands. She mentally praised herself for not wearing any eye make-up. She dreaded looking like a raccoon.

She watched as he jumped on top of the pool toy. She merely had a good time letting her body float in the cool water.

"Not surprising," she told him wryly. "Are you going to Draco's party?"

"Possibly," he said before slipping off of the whale back into the water.

"I imagine you'll be there.."

She took the opportunity to shift the pool toy toward her. She would perhaps jump on it soon enough. She hadn't decided.

"I believe it wouldn't be right of me to miss it," she told him keenly. "Draco would have a fit."

Alexandre laughed slightly. Draco was known to pitch a few fits every once in three seconds a while.

"I'll probably be there. It's not like I've anything important to do."

She sort of nodded her head in agreement with what he said. She didn't have much else to do either, that didn't have an awful lot to do with Draco.

"Especially considering how much effort he's putting into it," she told him. "You're on the VIP list."
