So I believed I have decided on where I would like to go for summer hols.

Mummy and Daddy aren't pleased that I decided to stay for so long, but really, what do I care? I do, but they only want me around for their little parties. It's my last summer before my last year of Hogwarts. There mere fact I've survived is a cause for celebration. Survived ( Read more... )

Anytime, really. My father works all day (and night) and my mother... decided to head to Mexico for a couple weeks with her girlfriends. Most likely to drink Tequila and sleep with Cabana Boys.

Anyways, the house is usually pretty empty.

Sounds incredibly a lot like my family.

Would now be alright? Coincidentally, Father is working and Mum is probably having another affair.

Cute. I'll be over shortly, then.

And with that, Cecilia hurried from her spot at her desk and jumped right into her closet. Except, ha, not literally. She took the moment to pick the best bathing suit she had, and settled on a simple red string bikini with gold embellishments.

She slipped it on, and threw on a white mini dress over it.

In moments, she had Apparated to right outside his front door. Because she had been there before once, for some occasion and Daria is pulling this out of her ass.

Alexandre had spent most of the day in swimming shorts anyways, and simply threw on a tshirt and a pair of sandals. He headed downstairs to wait for Cessy, unsure of how long "shortly" would be. It seemed to mean different things for different people.

"Shortly" was nearly ten minutes. Not too long of a wait for a girl like Cecilia. She usually spent far more time to get ready, but really, let's get be frank. She didn't need a lot of time to get ready.

She knocked on the door before adjusting the strap of her purse over her shoulder.

She had a feeling this would be an interesting visit.

Alexandre strolled over to the door and swung it open. Moments earlier, he had thrown on a pair of sunglasses, disregarding the fact that he was indoors.

"Hello!" he said brightly.

Well look at him. Cecilia took the moment to look him up and down and she smiled at him in a sort of teasing manner. Sunglasses inside.

He certainly was something else.

" 'ello, lovely," she greeted. "Well, you look all ready to sit out beside the pool, don't you?"

Alexandre lowered the glasses down the bridge of his nose with one finger.

"I was born ready to sit out by the pool," he joked, before spinning around to lead her out back.

"Anything to drink?" he asked her before they passed the fridge (and bountiful liqour cabinet) in his spacious kitchen.

Cecilia thought for a mere moment before she requested, "Really, a glass of water would do just fine."

Ever since that silly night with Miles Bletchley, Cecilia steered clear of all things intoxicating. She was a complete and tragic lightweight.

"Thank you," she added in.

"Suit yourself," he said with a grin, grabbing two glasses out of the cupboard and setting them down on the table. He pulled a bottle of water out of the fridge and poured it for her. The charmed glass took water that was poured into it to form its own perfectly square ice cubes.

"I've actually been at it since about..." he began glancing at a clock before decided to completely disregard it. "Well, it's not a pathetic time to start drinking somewhere, right?"

As soon as he finished, he opened the massive liquor cabinent. There was easily a hundred differen't bottles to choose from. He picked up a fancy looking bottle of vodka, and shut the doors. Continuing on his way, he led Cecilia outdoors, the bottle in one hand, glass in the other.

She looked at the glass with a sort of curious look. After a short glance at her watch, she shook her head, though didn't say anything at first. She hoped he would at least mix it with something.

Once she realized he wasn't, she tsked slightly.

"Of course, but its surely a pathetic time here," she told him simply. However, she let it slide after that.

He was her good friend after all.

Having just sprawled himself out on a deck chair, he opened up the bottle and took several long chugs from it before setting it down on the table beside him.

"Yeah... well," he said with a slightly deeper tone from the alcohol, wiping his mouth and grinning as he felt his sobriety melting away in the hot sun.

His pool was large and crystal clear. The bottom was hand-tiled with the Russian flag, and because of the water, almost looked as though it was waving.

Cecilia took one long look around the backyard and a satisfied smile settled on her lips. She could certainly deal with this.

And really, vodka in the early afternoon? It could be worse, right? Always.

Cecilia took the moment to settle her bag beside the nearest desk chair before she stepped out of her dress and kicked off her flip flops.

"Your backyard is wonderful," she noted, before settling down on the chair beside him.

"You're so kind!" he said before pulling his tshirt over his head, forgetting the sunglasses he had on and knocking them down into his lap.
