Actually, seriously, I wrote the story for that. I wanted John to kiss Rodney while he was in a coma. I'm a total mushball. I should be embarrassed but I'm so NOT.

Oh, Love, love, love!!! H/C, John being all frantic, blood! Then long stretched out waiting, epiphanies, more waiting.... Jeannie's realization, then, letting the natives help (finally) because John was so desparate he'd do anything at that point. Yes! LOL at Rodney's final line - heh!! Go Rodney! I enjoyed how they realized feelings, all before it ever got to the sleeping or even kissing point.

I know, I'm such an old skool h/c person. At this rate, I'll have to do a cave in next. Seriously, I just totally wanted John all kissing Rodney in his sleep. I am a mushball the size of a PLANET.

This was absolutely awesome! I've always had a secret love for fics where John actually says the words while still staying in character, and you did that perfectly!
