Thank you! The Alliance struck me as the most invasive of employers, especially for folks anywhere near the Academy. May have been twenty years ago, but they were still creepy then.

Zoe is the soul of common sense, no matter her grief or sorrow, she would see the clearest path I figured.

Simon is a professional, he can see what needs to be seen when he allows himself.

Ayuh, almost done with the follow-up... It may not be what is exected, but then, when is it ever? Kinda like plans that run smooth; they just go bendy somewhere along the way...

I like the analytical way Zoe asks the questions and how Simon is very non-judgemental. I think the little guy is going to end up on the ship somehow and then River and Jayne are in for some interesting times :)

Yup, the Alliance is just mega-corp of creepiness... such is a large corp...

Interesting may not mean what we all think it means >;0) He will be a tough addition to the violent duo... I don't envy him that.

*Hugs* Zoe if she would let me. That woman makes my heart happy even in her dryness.

*wild flailing* River and Jayne's got a kid! Don't worry Jayne, if you can't convince Mal to let you keep the kid on board, Zoe sure as hell will. :D

I'm thinking that Jayne will be the one needing the convincing! He is not a man who looks to be a parent no matter the means. But Zoe is definitely the one who will keep Mal in line. Course, it may help if I told everyone what has been going on with the rest of the crew during the Jayne and River series... >;0) (did you happen to notice Mal's comment about 'the others') *Nods*

I had fun pinning down who had what lines. At first I was going, "where's River?" but then I found her.

I think I figured everyone else out, too! This is very nice and rather exciting.

*Big Grin* I had a good time trying to figure out how to make each person clear. I didn't want to use space with identifiers, but it still needed to be clarified somehow.

Well, it might in another AU, but this version has had it's share of hardness in it... I hope it will fit in to what is already there... Thank you for supporting the idea of cheering the crew somehow though!
