It didn't help Dinah's problem that it had taken a long time before she was willing to even get involved with Babs, let alone Helena. Get involved, in a more than letting off steam after missions relationship style anyway. Dinah could handle letting off steam after missions. To be honest, that was one of the things she missed about being with Ollie. Say what you would about the man, he did give good sex. But that was one thing, an actual relationship was something entirely different. Something she hadn't really wanted to get involved in since Ollie. Relationships were far too complicated and far too much work, really (comma) for someone as active as her. And relationships with teammates? That never ended well, that she'd seen.

But Babs had slowly worn away her defenses, just like she'd worn away her ability to say no to being part of her team. Babs was persuasive like that. When Babs started to make noises about Helena joining them, Dinah didn't even bother to put up much of a fight. She knew how it would go and Babs was far too persuasive anyway. She'd just hang on for the ride, and hope this wasn't one of Babs' mistakes…which Babs did make, whether or not she wanted to admit it…chasing so long after Dick, pissing Karen off…there were mistakes Babs made that Dinah could hold over her head whenever Babs started to get too Delphic Oracle or omniscient Batty for her own good.

But sometimes, a girl just had to draw her line in the sand, take a stand, do the right thing. Eventually, there was a point where Dinah knew she needed to say this and no further, and yet she didn't. Babs kept finding that point and moving it further and further back. Sometimes Dinah didn't know if she recognized herself in the mirror after Babs pushed her point of no return back further. Sometimes she resented it…but most the time she just hung on for the ride. It took her places she'd never have gone on her own, after all…and it was far better than dating Ollie, and getting cheated on outright. And being a threesome did get her taken care of very well.

Sitting in Guy's bar, with their newest teammate, downing pitchers of beer, she slumped against the seat. New was a relative term but since she was the newest teammate… Dinah stopped making sense about half a pitcher ago, even inside her own head.

Zinda watched her, amused. She didn't know how heroes got all tied up in things nowadays. Mind, she hadn't been a hero back then…and pilots had things a lot looser. Pilots back then, and now too… Her lips curled as she thought about the flyboy she'd roped in and grew softer when she though about their girl. Arisia was a darling and she didn't think that she and Hal would have lasted as long as they had without her. Mind, it was their elfinly innocent looking lass that had gotten them together to start with. Green Lanterns and pilots seemed to have a far more sensible approach to things as far as relationships are concerned. At least, it caused a lot less stress overall.

"How do you do it?" Dinah questioned her, looking morosely at the empty glass of beer. Well, glass that should be a beer glass but it was all gone. She had a defective glass. That sucked. It was like her life. That was defective and sucked too.

Zinda reached for the pitcher, and poured the beer into the glass with a small smile, watching it fill, making sure to give it a nice head. "Generally, I do it like this."

"No," Dinah responded, reaching for the drink greedily. "The whole thing. Threesomes. Relationships. Not feeling pressured."

"Generally I don't get into relationships where I feel pressured." Zinda sipped her beer. "It's just not a good idea." It really wasn't because it just sucked all the fun out of things. "You're feeling pressured?"

"I love them," Dinah denied. She did, she really did. At least, she knew she was comfortable with them, and they wouldn't cheat on her the way Ollie did. And they shared everything, and what she didn't share, Barbara knew anyway. So it was almost the same as sharing everything, right?

"Didn't ask that," Zinda responded easily. "I asked if you were feeling pressured." Love was easy to come by. She'd loved every one of the guys she'd slept with. Didn't mean she wanted to keep most of them. She wondered what the big deal was. Either you loved them, or you threw them back after you were done loving them. Sooner if their loving skills sucked. Luckily that wasn't a problem for her with Arisia and Hal. Both of them were very excellently skilled with straight lovemaking…and when Hal got to using his ring as well…let's just say they flew straight up to heights she hadn't flown before.

"They're not pressuring me," Dinah disclaimed.

"So you're pressuring yourself?" Zinda asked. It was like trying to rivet an airplane, to get this girl to talk. If it weren't for the fact that as soon as the bar closed down, she could close down the bartender for the night…but first she had to help her teammate. Or Arisia would be unhappy with her all night.

"Kind of?" Dinah responded staring at her glass of beer. It was empty again. She very carefully, with one eye closed to aim better, poured the beer right next to the glass.

"You three usually seem happy," Zinda observed.

"We are! Usually," Dinah giggled. "Helena has this thing she does with her tongue and…"

"So why you worrying tonight?" Zinda didn't see what the big deal was yet.

"Helena said I was uptight," Dinah explained. "Me! Uptight. Next to her Battyhighness Babs…and…I have great girlfriends."

"Why did Helena say you were uptight?" Zinda asked. No more drinks for the Canary tonight.

"Because I said that Babs didn't need to stick her tongue down in my- " Zinda covered Dinah's mouth. That was more than enough information. She loved her teammates, but their bedroom antics were for themselves and not her.

"Well," Zinda sighed as Dinah's eyes rolled up in the back of her skull and she fell asleep. Using the communicator, she called Helena to get her inebriated lover, so Zinda could go home and get some sleep with hers.
