Dante Cove is awesome! the third season is the best. It's cheesy and campy but it's fun. And I want to take this opportunity to make you a Toby/Adam fan because the world needs more of them. Yes, I'm shameless.

Oh, man... I tried to watch Dante's Cove several years ago, and I couldn't make it through the first season. It was just SO bad! The writing, the characters, the acting, the plot (and I use that word very loosely here) -- even all the sex and nakedness didn't make up for it. I just got to a point where I realized I'd rather just watch gay porn or read fanfic than force myself to sit through another episode, so I quit. :-P

It is admittedly not a show I can handle watching with my full attention. I watch it much the same way I watch football: doing something on the computer and just looking up for the action.

I remember during one climactic (heh) scene where two guys were going at it in the kitchen because...well I think they were cursed, but it's not important. The important part was how all four of us sitting there watching completely ignored the sex to discuss in great detail the really fantastic kitchen they were in.

And for all that it is one of the most ridiculous things ever, I had great fun watching it. In some ways, though, I enjoyed the spin-off more. You know, The Lair. That one is set in the night club that was selling that drug "Saint" in season 1 of Dante's Cove. The sheriff told Colin that he wasn't fooled by them, he knew their drug-selling kinky gay sex club was just a front. I'll admit to being very intrigued what they could possibly be hiding behind all that. :D

Shorter episodes, which actually helps tremendously.
