I got Dante's Cove from Netflix for vacation watching. If you've never heard of it, it's basically a gay, supernatural soap opera. Not-really-spoilery observations:
1. It's really bad. I mean, really, really bad. Badly written, badly acted, badly edited...just BAD. Please note: I am almost done with the second season, so I'm not claiming a high ground, here.
2. Pretty much everyone except Tracey Scoggins gets naked at the slightest provocation. And by that, I mean they get naked to have sex, get naked to work out, get naked to walk on the beach, get naked to swim (like, take off their bathing suits to swim), get naked to cook breakfast, etc. There really is a great deal of nakedness involved, here.
3. Granting that I am not exactly paying a lot of attention to detail, here (see #1, and, well, #2), but I'm honestly having trouble telling some of the men apart. Mostly, this is not a detriment to the viewing experience, but still. The women are much more varied. This is unusual in my viewing experience, as is the fact that the men get naked a lot more than the women. There's a lesson here, somewhere.
