I don't watch Doctor Who but I get a lot of info through fandom osmosis, and it just... it does not seem to make sense at all. Like, already the "love story in reverse" was very weird, but I could roll with that (and in fact thought it was super interesting!) - but now it apparently went, like, through a wormhole of crazy and I'm pretty sure nothing makes sense. Plus, Amy and Rory lost their baby girl and I just, I can't deal with that right now

Doctor Who is making the mini version of Troy in my head go "I want the magic back," (in the least crazy way possible, and also with Troy-like inflections). I'm not a River Song fan AT ALL, but I like Matt Smith and his hair! I'm starting to like Amy quite a bit! I really do like Amy and Rory! And then the story just doesn't work, which is disappointing.

And arguably the previous series were about relationships, sort of, like Nine and Rose and his survivor's guilt and how she becomes this awesome person, and Ten and Rose, and their initial trust things and then their dynamic, and Ten and Donna's friendship, but it's like-- Stephen Moffat, step away from the keyboard. Or something.

I'm tentatively excited about Community, at the very least because I think when Dan Harmon made mistakes last season it was at the very least because he was trying something, which I can respect. But really, most of my anticipation is for Parks and Rec.

I'm excited about Up All Night, too. Can't find the fandom for it, though! I mean, I have sneak peeks and everything, and nowhere to share. :(

We had a discussion, me and some peeps, on facebook that covered such things as: how I think Amy Pond is a non-character, how irritating River-goddamn-Song is, how cool Rory is and how all of us, except my brainwashed friend, wish Moffat would go away. Someone called her 'River "Poochie the Rockin' Dog" Song' and, yup, that's it. I wish Moffat were confident in his own storytelling (or less confident?) enough to just tell us the fucking story. I get sweary over this stuff. Sorry... EXCEPT TOTALLY NOT BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN ROBBED OF MY FAVORITE SHOW.
