I'm getting worried about Rigby (my computer). Today, he froze upteen times, then wouldn't even let me past the Windows entry screen. I really, really hope that there isn't some nasty virus on my computer that's going to make it blow up ( Read more... )

Dude, you were up so late! Twice this week already, and those are just the days I know about ;o) I hope Rigby's ok! I can't imagine you not having a computer. Well I can from when you're at the Rents, but that's all easy to forget once you're back in Stoon for the term.

I hope Rigby's ok. I'm worried about my computer, too, although I don't have a name for it. :P It keeps shutting down randomly. But I think it has more to do with it running out of memory than it being a virus, because it tends to shut down whenever I have a bunch of windows or a lot of applications running... but I've also tried to delete applications I don't use, and that doesn't seem to be working so well.

But I'm being careful about it--I've made a backup of everything I really need, and I'm going to make copies of any music I want to save.

I know what you mean. After I panicked the other day, and saved all my document and songs to cds, I deleted them. It still says that I have virtually no disk space left, so I don't know what's taking it up. Maybe more ram is needed.

Good idea about making copies. I'd be crushed if I lost everything.
