Please don't crash... please don't crash...
I'm getting worried about Rigby (my computer). Today, he froze upteen times, then wouldn't even let me past the Windows entry screen. I really, really hope that there isn't some nasty virus on my computer that's going to make it blow up.
As soon as I was able to get into Windows, I spent a few hours going through all of my files, deleting old stuff, and burning the rest to a cd, just in case. Then I went through and uninstalled a bunch of programs to make it easier if I have to take him into the shop. After I did all that, and ran an antivirus (it picked up 12 viruses and 281 errors!), things started working better. Slow, but better. Then again, I ran the antivirus two days again and deleted the same amount of viruses. I don't know if the same ones came back, or if these were new friends. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.
I just finished betaing a chapter, so I am hitting the hay. *yawn*
There are worse crimes than burning books. One of them is not reading them.
