2. How many characters do you have? Do you prefer males or females?

I have a whole mess of characters being that I'm trying to write a whole mess of novels here. I don't prefer one gender over the other because that's stupid, however I have noticed that I tend towards defaulting to female when creating a new character. Who knows the root of this

Fuck, now I have to sit down and think about all the characters milling vaguely and semi-shapelessly around in my head.

I'll get back to you on it, possibly on my journal. For now, I'll say that like you, I default to female.

The question is also extra interesting for me because I have a handful of characters who don't have human concepts of gender.
