I can only imagine what my mom went through raising a kid with hearing loss and a stammer almost bad enough to be classified as a stutter. It was bad enough for me to have to deal with the taunting and bullying, but it must have been hell for her to see me being treated that way and know she couldn't always be there to swoop down to my rescue when things aren't fair.

Oh man! As much as I was able to defend myself. I hated having to and the result was me having all these anxieties. School was rough.

it's always going to be something. i hate to hear that is happening to him. the only thing you can do is deal with how he feels and talk to him about it no matter how repetitive it gets. at least that way, he'll be better suited to deal with those kind of situations as he gets older.

Oh, god I hate hearing about stuff like this! Bullies make me sick. My youngest son punched a kid the other day for making fun of a mentally challenged boy in their class. I know, I shouldn't be proud of him hitting another kid since I hate bullies. But at least he was defending someone. Kids can be sooooo cruel.
