I have not seen this posted anywhere, so I thought I would post something. Joseph Barbara, co-creator of such cultural icons as the Flintstones and Tom and Jerry, has died at the age of 95. actually, Tom and Jerry were about fighting, but not in the way today's cartoons are. I think of things like the Batman cartoons, or Yu-gi-oh, or so many other cartoons who's entire premise is about destroying the other person, in a not so nice way. Maybe it's the same, but I don't think so. They seem far more mean spririted than Tom and Jerry, who once in a while actually got along.
