Too bloody cold to sit at the computer

The thermometer sits at 4 degrees at the moment. Bound to go further down. I had a poor bird on my feeder first thing this morning in the still dark hours. I honestly thought the poor thing was frozen to the bar. He looked so pitiful, but I did see he was eating. Then after ten minutes I thought maybe his feet were frozen to the metal. I've heard

I believe it is SUET, but haven't had the opportunity to use the word in a sentence in a decade, so don't quote me.

I used to have a birdfeeder that attached to my window with suction cups. I live on the second floor of a brick building, so the suction cup feeder is the only way I could have one that I could watch comfortably from my apartment. After several years of weathering, it finally became unusable last year, and I haven't been able to afford to replace it yet. Hopefully sometime this year I'll get it replaced with one that's more durable. I've seen one like my old one, only made with tubular metal instead of wood. It's nice, but it's also fifty bucks.
