Yeah, I was doing okay until I again started hearing predictions of a blizzard. Now my stomach is tightening up again. I already called the funeral home and asked if they would post pone the funeral. They said no. So tomorrow I will be going back to the shop to put the chains on the truck, as we are now expected to get a foot to two feet of snow ( Read more... )

Seems to me that a man has a right to his own flesh & blood seeing that the female did not even tell him that it was his child. Because he's unsettled, or poor does not give the state the right to give his child away. My 2cents. Merry Christmas BTW:)

He knew she was pregnant, that he 'might' be the father, but he couldn't get the test done until recently to be sure. I'm not saying he doesn't have the 'right' to the child, I'm saying 'what is the best thing for the child?'. The whole Solomon thing. I'm a big fan of adoption as an option for woman who cant properly care for their child. I think that a man should also be able to make that difficult but perhaps 'best' decision. If a woman got pregnant in the situation he's in, I would hope she would not have the baby, or give it up for a better home. And coincidentally, who do you think is going to be supplying money and food to this baby if he takes it? The state. In welfare and other food aid, and who knows what else? If he gets the kid, I wish him the best. Just not sure he's thinking of the baby, but more one what's 'mine'. Maybe he is.. its just the impression I'm getting, based on what I know of him.
