Its probably the album of the year. I'm currently torn between Lungs and Hands. Lungs has a lot of colour and some beautiful arrangements, but the Little Boots album is so heart-stoppingly joyeous - pure pop at its finest.

2009 has been a great year for pop music!

With that harp arrangement of 'Rabbit Heart' being such a gem, it certainly is in the top five. Our little ladies of electro really have given the others like Lisa Hannigan and Speech Debelle a run for top billing amongst punters this year.. With great performaces by La Roux, Little Boots and even Roisin Murphy, whos set at Victor & Rofl - Paris fashion week also note worthy. And BTW 'Lungs' is also released on vinal!!

They got signed to universal so their album oughta be everywhere by now - though some remixes maybe import only. However there are plans to repackage 'Lungs' as a boxset..
