Airplanes are by far the best way to get reading done. There's nothing else to do!! (Except curse the small children sitting behind you wailing and kicking your seat. And their parents who brought them on such a late flight.)

I'm ammused that the inscription in Spain is in English.
Or, more likely, assuming it's only translated into English, I'm assumed that someone bothered putting writing old-school "dieth" instead of "dies."

Usefulness of the Book Curse

When I was at Catholic University the library school library didn't have a very sophisticated system to prevent theft. They printed a version of your curse in their books and hoped for the best (or the worst, as the case warranted.) Mary
