Very, very nice! And Happy Memorial Day to you!

Personally, I think Quinn did say no and Rachel didn't stop, but the difference was she wasn't pushing for sex. If Quinn had said no to sex then Rachel would have stopped.

Haha. Yeah. I was writing that section and trying to figure out how Quinn could reassure Rachel when she really had already said no, and just sort of gave up because it was one in the morning and I was tired =P Excellent point, though, I might go back and edit something in about that- this is why you were always such a fantastic beta! =D

Finn is such a douche. I hate him even more. But anyways, I loved this fic.

Heh heh. Me too. He is high on my list of least-favorite fandom characters ever. Thanks for reading!!

Wow :D

That was just... fantastic :D And very unexpected! I loved the progression of it, starting with Puck helping Quinn ask Rachel out and then leading up to the realization that he'd been her protector - and how stricken Quinn was about the hickies was just great in the sense that it kind of built up.... I also enjoyed Rachel's indignation :D

Also, bravo for making me forget about the trigger warning for most of the story - the summary made it seem light or something, and reading this was unexpected and suspenseful - it's super awesome you were able to do that even with the online practice of tacking warnings/summaries onto the beginning of the story :D

Also - great job dealing with Finn! I don't think I've ever read another fic where he assaults someone and still stays in character. The dialogue Quinn attributed to him just felt so Finn, in what he said and how he said it, and I was very pleasantly surprised! :D (Not as something against you, just it's tough to make Finn a bad guy in that sense and still Finn-like).

Oh wow, thank you so much!!! Glad the trigger warning wasn't just hanging over the story like some dark and dreary cloud...and I am literally bouncing in my seat right now over your compliments about how I handled Finn! =D

Haha I was trying to figure out how to approach that and just worked with a perp who said basically the exact same thing, and I could totally see Finn going all "I'm not a rapist- she just didn't know she wanted it yet!" and acting victimized if anyone ever tried to call him on it.

Really, really appreciate you taking the time to read and comment!!

Really enjoyed reading this fic, and I thought you did a good job showing the initial caution Rachel & Quinn had when they started going out, the panicked reaction Quinn had to hickeys because they brought up memories of a traumatic experience, Rachel's initial astonishment at Quinn's reactions and her guilt once she found out what was going on, as well as the snippets of the friendship Quinn and Puck have.

It also somehow seemed logical that Finn was the one to hurt Quinn like that, since for some reason, I've always figured that if I had to pick, he, out of all the ND guys, would be the one most likely to rape someone, and it was nice to hear that Puck made sure he didn't get away with that, even if the police didn’t get involved.

Lookit I managed to stop being so damn busy to take the time to read this awesomeness. This was superb and really conveyed the building undercurrent of apprehension with the situation. I'm glad that Puck kicked Finn's ass and in my mind Rachel is going to proceed to nail him in the ball's at glee the next time she see's him mmmkay lol. On another note please never stop attaching songs to your fics you always manage to set the mood perfectly and I normally end up adding the music to my itunes if I don't have it already.

PS. I know it took forever lol.
