LOL enabler maybe but I'm not complaining. This was the perfect balance of sweet/angst that you seem to have a stranglehold on lol. Rachel is just so endearing in a kicked puppy sort of way, I like that she's cautious though, she wants so badly to have Quinn as her friend but she isn't being all people change overnight about it. I knew as soon as I read the bit about the door closing what was going to happen it could be a sign I read to much fanfic but I'm going with I pick up on subtle cues really well. I hope Quinn is safe wherever she took off to though and not in a slide in pajamas.

Haha I almost described Rachel exactly like that in this chapter before realizing I may be starting to develop an over-dependence on the phrase as a descriptor for her =P And good for you, you little psychic, you! Haha I always love when I predict what's going to happen and then it actually happens! As long as it's not just because the story is terribly cliched... ;-)

No pajamas, but she is back in the tunnel. So...I guess 50/50s not bad?

oh der she fell asleep watching a movie so she probably is still in her clothes she came over in, I'm just a little slow today lol. Its such a sad refuge, though it is fantastic in terms of this story, its just really heartbreaking to think of her alone in place meant to be a happy area all sad like.

Well, you know me, can't let them get too used to living happy, angst-free lives! ;-) And yes. Lucky for you, Rachel will only be going uphill from here (with maybe a few small exceptions!)...she just makes my heart hurt when I write her as sad and friendless for too long =P

But, I do see some hope. Quinn obviously wants Rachel for a friend (at least), and Rachel obviously want to help Quinn.

Haha about the one-sentence thing? No, I most certainly wasn't. I've come to realize that, if left to my own devices minus a beta, I have a tendency to abbreviate scenes that might otherwise be included. For the purposes of this fic, that's okay with me, but if and when I finally get around to finishing Settle the Score, I'll definitely still be looking for your advice on it =)

And all is never lost, at least where my fics are concerned! I like happy endings too much!

Poor poor Quinn. *huggles her* I really hope that RAchel and Quinn can develope a friendship so that Rachel finally has a friend and Quinn finally has someone to be there for her!

Oh yes, I have big plans in mind for their friendship ;-) Well, obviously, given how the story started, but still. Quinn could do with more huggles, and Rachel is starting to just make me feel sad when I write her all lonely and friendless =P
