You may notice that I have the exact same colour/style blog on DW as I do here on LJ. EXACT. I tweaked it for long enough until it had almost the exact same feel to it! :) Sometime I'll have to do the custom mood theme, too, but... DW is one of my back-up blogs. I ain't goin' anywhere; LJ is the blog I love the most, still. The changes haven't been apparent to me yet (probably 'cause I've tweaked the look and feel of my my journal so much here on LJ, as well as in DW), so I'm staying. But I'm at both places. :)
(FYI, if you want to contact me, but don't want to come here to LJ to do it, Twitter's probably your best bet.)
Glad you've found somewhere that's best for you, tho'. :)
I believe I did notice that a while back. I don't have the patience or the skills to do that much tweaking.
And like I've explained to others, it's not the changes that are bugging me, it's the attitude and behavior of the LJ staff, and there's just so much evidence that the majority of the LJ staff don't care about providing a good experience for their users in any capacity. They don't follow good user interface design practice, don't even seem to know what that is, or how to effectively carry out beta testing (or care to do so in a way that would include users from a variety of backgrounds with a variety of needs) and their customer service is laughable. LJ staffers have a free reign to do whatever they like to abuse their power, because they won't be punished. That's what has me wanting to use DW as my main journal
