With the upcoming 'hurricane' it makes me think back to March and the crazy flooding that we had. This morning before I went to work I moved all my wedding stuff that I REALLY care about (ie, can't be replaced easily or not up off the floor) to upstairs to Danny's room. Mark Twain is quoted to say that in twenty years we'll be more disappointed by the things we didn't do than by the things that we did.
While I ponder this, and think about the implications that it could have, it also makes me question why it is that, as humans, we feel the need to be disappointed in our choices, what seems like, so often. Decisions ( Read more... ) -

I know I put too much pressure on myself, and even knowing this I can't seem to stop doing it. When I actively attempt to not worry about things, I make myself worry about the fact that I'm not worrying about them. I think I'm just destined to worry ( Read more... ) -

i ended up calling out of work today because my migraine was so horrendous. called my dr and he referred me to a neurologist, and while i know that i should go, i'm really not looking forward to adding another dr. to my repertoire. -
