So excence showed me the Polish version of this kind of list. And since the Hungarian version wasn't translated, I decided to give it a go. If something is not clear then ask. It might have some flaws since it was pretty late when I translated it.

You know you're Hungarian when...

I know what túrógombóc is (and like it), so I guess I'm not completely out of touch with my Hungarian heritage. XD And I used to cook with paprika a lot, but now I can't eat it anymore.

Is saying that your face will stay like that when you make a face a common Hungarian thing? I've heard it a lot in the US too.

YAY túrógombóc is a must c:
That's interesting, though. I don't think we have many food that do not have paprika. We're like "oh well, let's put some paprika in it just in case." And it magically becomes delicious, lol.

Hmm, it's common to say it to children. I remember being afraid that my face will stay that way.

I've never really thought about 35 tbh. I always thought that "they lived happily ever after" means the same as living happily until they die. But it's nice, realistic childhood.

lol I've never heard of 38. It's some kind of country-thing. We don't really say that in the city, well or I just never heard it.

If you love paprika you'll love Hungarian food. It's like "well whatever, we should put some paprika in this thing just in case it doesn't taste good." And it tastes good.

lol actually it depends on the person. I believe that Bejja can swear for more than 10 mins without saying the same word twice. XD

And I don't see why 34 is special. Isn't that common sense?

But aww I'm glad, even though I didn't reply right away. XD <3
