I once sent a copy of Storm Front to a 76 yr old woman. She was just asking for good SF or fantasy books on CD. Considering I bought all the CDs and books I figured copying them for a friend on a fixed income was ok. Anyway, she loved the story and asked what that boy reading it looked like because even though she was beyond "all that" he had a really sexy voice.

hehe!! That's so cool. I certainly imagine him as Harry. 'Specially with the long hair in the pics shared from the James & Friends weekened. He's all that.

I love the Dresden series and have all the books and the three audios James has read (and he's supposedly going to do Summer Knight as well - yay!!). I've also put Storm Front on my mp3 and love it when a random chapter just pops up unexpectedly. Just as I always break out in a smile when it plays a James song for me. *g*

Turns out, he can slay me at hello

Oh yes - he says that just before he starts to sing on the Words and Music DVD (which I've ripped to CD and is the only CD in my car at the moment) and it just makes me melt every time. In fact if the volume is too low for me to hear him say it I turn it up and go back to the beginning.

OK, taking my sad fangirly self away from your LJ now. :D

Yay!! We're fangirly.
I'm thinking of doing what you've done with Words & Music. Very clever *g*

Well, as I've already done it I'm happy to zip it and email it to you if you let me have your email addy (or if that doesn't work I can stick it on a CD and airmail it across to you *g*)

Yeah, he's reading the next (for him) before going to NY for filming PS I Love You.

I've listened to a few clips, but I'm too broke to buy the CDs yet. Really want to try them out, though! Major meltage.

They are kinda costly. But when you get them... they're well worth it.

Any time. *g*

(The funny thing is, I've never listened to them myself--I read the first couple of Dresden books, but they didn't grab me, and I didn't want to spend that much money on audio versions of books I don't like that much...)

They are pretty expensive, but worth it for the voice.

OMG. I'm such a fangirl.
