It is the smell of the tea that causes him to crack open an eyelid, peering at the proffered drink. At first he wans't quite sure how to react, not that he didn't very muhc appreciate the gesture, it's simply that his head was far too fuzzy to connect that the tea was, in fact, for him.
Blinking again, he moves to stare at it a bit more closely, one hand reaching out and eventually drinking it to his lips.
That smile? That very content smile? Is a sign of approval.
Don't mind if he hasn't quite noticed Five himself yet, he will, as soon as he wakes up a little more.

When the tea is taken, he waits for a few moments before running is fingers through the other's hair again. He's in a good mood, Eight, be lucky.
"You're sleeping late now, aren't you?"

This, of course, was not a bad stare, more of a 'Huh, when did you get here?' stare that will turn into a 'Why didn't you tell me you were here sooner so that I might cling and use you as a pillow' stare.
Which he promptly does.
"I think," he mumbles sleepily as his head comes to rest against the blond Doctor's lap, eyes closing again. "I think I woke up just in time."

"Perhaps, but you should also consider staying up." And the blond will shift a little bit, proving to be a wreckless sort of pillow.
"You can't sleep the bloody day away." Not that Five has any room to talk, but, well, y'know..
