~ * ~

Jack made it out of a pub late that night, he had considered his options and had decided to cross the park to make it back home quickly.

He had no real job to come back to, he had gotten sacked after he had flirted with a married man the other day, who by chance, happened to be the partner of the owner of the store…

Things hadn’t gone well after that.

Especially not after Jack actually did manage to convince the partner to go to the backroom for a quick handjob.

One would think that after around six times having a similar thing happening to him, he would have learnt, but no. He kept on doing it.

“Too difficult to keep your hands in your pockets and little Jack within your pants at work, isn’t it Jack?” He asked to himself in a rhetorical manner as he made it out of the path.

Technically he shouldn’t be stepping into the grass, but then, he did want to get home before it started to rain. He could smell the rain coming, that distinctive smell was in the air and he wasn’t looking forward to his coat getting wet.

He was rather fond of his coat, it was what they called ´vintage´ but he really did like it. It was heavier than the modern fabrics used in this Century, it was thicker, it felt like he was warm…

Stuffing his hands in his pockets he couldn’t help wondering about the man in his dreams. He couldn’t see him, not his face at least, but he ´knew´ it was the same man.

He always dreamt of him, they were together, enjoying many different things. Common things… it wouldn’t be the first time Jack dreamt himself preparing breakfast for someone… nor the first time he thought he could actually smell coffee when he woke up. That delicious aroma taking over his senses until he realized there was none.

His apartment was empty, as always, because he didn’t believe in monogamy (nor liked anyone staying over) but apparently, in his dreams, he was committed to this man… it was only them, at all times. Just the two of them.

They lived together, they were a couple.

It was the sort of dreams, like the one he had the previous night that made him wonder if someday, any day, he would meet someone who would turn his world upside down enough for him to want to share the rest of his life with only one man.

Jack snorted to himself at the idea, himself? ´Married´? It was indeed a dream! He couldn´t help but laugh at his own line of thinking because Jack got tired of his partners as quickly he got tired of the clothes he wore.

All of a sudden something took him by surprise. Something that came from the side made him stumble to the ground, a loud huff escaped his parting lips as he collided against the apple grass and attempted to grab whatever was all over him. He frowned when feeling a tongue licking his face, “What the?”

“Padme, no!”

The steady voice came from the side, the accent was quite distinctive, almost familiar…

Jack couldn’t help himself from squirming with laugher as the Great Dane kept on licking his face and nuzzling him in a friendly manner, “Padme, I take? You didn’t even let me buy you a drink,” He said in between laughs until Padme´s owner managed to tug from her collar.

“I´m so sorry, her leash broke and I couldn’t catch her before she…”

“Jumped me? It’s alright, I’m used to it by now. You have ´no´ idea how many want to do that, won’t start counting species because I´d never end,” Jack grinned and looked at Padme´s owner from head to toe. Tight suit pants, black fitted ´vintage´ coat with a red shirt under it...

Grabbing the offered hand, Jack got back on his feet and started undusting his coat, “Thanks.”

“I really am sorry, she means no harm, she’s very friendly… as you might have noticed.”

Jack chuckled softly and grinned at the stranger, “Padme I know already, you are?” He asked with blunt interest.

“Jones, Ianto Jones.”

“Nice to meet you, Jones, Ianto Jones. Jack Harkness,” He said looking from owner to dog, who was now sitting looking from one to the other, “You shouldn’t run away like that, you could get lost,” He addressed Padme.

“Is not likely she runs away, she’s very calm. She usually sticks to the road too, I have no idea why she ran this way, she must have sensed something. Maybe some night animal. Are you hurt? She can be quite overenthusiastic with her displays of affection.”

“I’m fine, I can take rough,” Jack said cheekily and looked at Ianto, “So, just you around walking Padme? At, three am in the morning? Wearing a suit?” He asked and smiled impishly, “I’ve heard about the term work-o-holic before, but I’d never met anyone who really applied to it, until probably now.”

“Busy week,” Ianto said with a nod.

“Hmm, busy night. Guess we’re kind of even on that…” He looked at the other with endless interest and smiled seductively, “Outdoors, always fun,” He muttered when noticing Ianto was removing the belt he was wearing and smiled innocently when the other glanced up.

“I guess not with the ´children´ around,” He smiled, and shifted from one foot to the other as Ianto placed his belt around Padme´s neck as an improvised leash, “We could go out for breakfast though, considering it’s morning?”

“Can’t, have to go get some sleep.”

“Can I come with?” Jack grinned and moved closer to the other, who stayed put. That was a good sign, anyone else would have moved away by now.

“You don´t waste time do you?” Ianto asked with a chuckle.

“Not with someone as hot as you I don’t. So? What do you say? Can I go home with you two? I could help you relax; looks like you might be needing it.”

“Sorry, have to wake up early tomorrow.”

“Definitely need it,” Jack chuckled.

“I should be going. If you’re not hurt...”

“Would you take me with you if I said I was?” Jack asked giving the other big blue puppy eyes. Loving the mild stammer as the other tried to keep his voice steady.

“I should go,” Ianto said quietly and started walking away from the stranger before turning in his place, “Do I know you from somewhere?”

“Now there’s an oldie,” Jack said and caught up with Ianto and Padme, walking next to the man as the dog looked up at him curiously.

“I´d remember having seen someone like you before, if we had met,” Jack pointed out as they walked back to the road, “Why did you ask?” He asked curiously because somehow, something was feeling- odd. Not in a bad way, just, different…

“It was just- nothing,” Ianto smiled at the stranger.

“Tell me, I don’t bite… unless asked,” Jack teased.

“It’s just… back there, it felt as if… as if I knew you. As if something similar, had happened… another time. It’s silly,” Ianto said dismissing the feeling and frowned when it started raining.

Padme whined as she noticed she was starting to get wet and looked up at Ianto for him to hurry.

“Ah, damn,” Jack muttered and got Ianto´s hand in his own, “come on!” He said and started running, dragging him along until they were at the door of a random building, sheltering from the downpour.

“You´re soaked.”

“Not really, this coat might look old but is really warm and is difficult for water to get through it, unless you fall into the lake or something like that.”

“Want to come upstairs and dry? You can call a cab,” Ianto offered.

“Oh? Your building?” Jack asked curiously looking up at the fancy building.

“Yeah.”

“So I do get to go inside after all,” Jack grinned.

“Just to dry off, have a coffee until the taxi arrives…”

´Plenty of time, to make a good move´ Jack smiled at Ianto and followed upstairs. “Let me,” he said and took hold on Padme´s leash.

“Thanks.”

“Glad to be of help. After all, you’re inviting me over for breakfast, despite your previous statement,” Jack said cheekily and followed Ianto inside the building until they were in the lift.

“Jones loft, please,” Ianto said as soon as they were in the lift and removed his coat.

Jack noticed Ianto removed his coat to check it out, maybe to see if he would be able to wear it the upcoming day and standing slightly behind, Jack couldn´t help his eyes from drifting down to the tight suit trouser clad rear.

The sight was indeed sinful. How could a man wear tight trousers like that and pull it off with such elegance?

Jack was starting to feel enthralled. Well, he was enthralled; he was feeling more- interested now.

“Wow;” Jack said looking around at the spacious loft whilst handing over the leash to Ianto as he placed his coat on a hanger by the door.

“Come here girl, I’ll get you dry. Jack, lend me the coat I’ll get it dry.”

Frowning a little at the idea of handing over his coat, Jack still did it because- actually he had no clue as to why he did it. He just did, it felt right, “Be careful with that. I love that coat,” He said seriously.

“I’m good with clothes,” Ianto reassured him and led the way to the kitchen.

Jack walked around and stood by one of the windows, his eyes focused on the lake and the lightening illuminating the sky in the most beautiful colors anyone could see.

“You must have a really good job to be able to afford something like this.”

“Actually, it is a family heirloom; I work as an archivist at the Museum, head of hard cover books division among other antiques.”

“Isn´t that a bit… boring?” Jack asked popping up at the kitchen door to notice Ianto had gotten rid of the red shirt and his coat was in a special place where it would get dry without shrinking or getting ruined.

There was room for only one coat though, probably why Ianto had left his on the stand.

“So, coffee?”

Jack smiled at Padme who was towel dried now and watched her go to her cushion which was placed in front the fireplace. She howled quietly whilst resting her head on her paws when noticing it was off and looked towards their way with hopeful eyes.

“Light fire,” Ianto´s voice commanded and the fireplace started burning.

“She´s a spoiled girl isn´t she?”

“She´s all I´ve got. So yeah. Coffee?”

“Please,” Jack moved to sit on one of the stools and watched Ianto moving in the kitchen efficiently, there was not one thing out of place in there, all cloths seemed to be clean and perfectly folded, no dishes in sight, no left overs from breakfast, “Have you got a cleaning droid?”

“Yup, rarely ever use it though. Unless it’s necessary, I like doing things the old fashioned way. With my own hands?”

“I know the feeling,” Jack replied, double meaning to his words, once again. That perfectly round arse moving before him was too much of a distraction; he couldn’t stop himself from staring.

“Unless you want me to ´accidentally´ burn your coffee, would you please, stop staring at my arse?”

Jack laughed heartily and smiled impishly when Ianto looked over his shoulder.

“I can see your reflection in the metal of the toaster.”

“Sorry, it’s just… you can’t blame me. You should take my word for it, considering one doesn’t get to see their behind often. Yours is rather distracting,” He smiled when the other snorted and rested his hands on the counter.

“I didn’t mean to say your job was boring…”

“Yes, you did.”

“Alright; I did. How come someone like you, would like to work in a most likely stuffy place like that? Old books?”

“Is not just the books, it’s history - what’s remaining of it - in your hands. Evidence of past times. You should understand, wearing your vintage looking coat.”

“I like my coat, don´t you like it?”

“Oh, I love the coat, I was just making a point. Someone who wears something like that should be able to value things that originated in the past.”

Jack took his mug of coffee, his hands cradling it carefully within them and he sniffed at it tentatively. He had no idea why, but he was extra picky with his coffee. Having a sip he moaned softly and looked at the other with surprised eyes, “How did you know I put two sugars in it?” He enquired curiously.

“I don´t know,” Ianto admitted looking at the other with a little bit of puzzlement, “Does it matter?”

“Well, no one ever managed to prepare me drinkable coffee before. I always drink it because someone took the effort to prepare it, but it never tastes right. It never did, that would be the right way to put it, because this tastes just- right,” He frowned to himself, “Now, I’m the one wondering if we’ve met before,” He looked up at the other and stood up from his stool. “Humor me with something.”

“What?”

Taking the mug from Ianto´s hands, Jack stepped forward into Ianto´s personal space until he was trapped between the counter and himself, “Kiss me, or let me do the kissing. I might forget names, even faces, but I never forget a kiss.”

“That’s most hard to believe coming from someone who is willing to kiss a complete stranger in the middle of his kitchen.”

“Don’t you want me to kiss you?” Jack asked as his hand brushed against Ianto´s. The other’s stayed still for a millisecond before it pulled away.

“Should… I ask you to leave now?”

“You didn’t answer my question. Don’t you want me to kiss you?” Jack’s voice was silky and inviting, his hand stroke up the bare skin of Ianto´s forearm, “Just a kiss… Nothing to be anxious about.”

“I just met you. And something tells me you are not the kind of guy who stops at ´just a kiss´”

“I will, I promise. If we don’t kiss, then we might wonder about this forever. Someone who is keen on digging up the past, must certainly be up for some real experimenting and finding out the possible truth?” The older man asked. Ianto swallowed hard and Jack brushed his fingertips against the side of Ianto´s throat, “I won’t hurt you, nor do more than kiss you. I swear.”

“Well then, if I refuse- you should move out of my personal space, I don’t appreciate people stepping into my personal space like this...”

Jack cut Ianto´s speech by kissing him by surprise, his mouth pressing against the other´s, smooth, soft, tender lips as his hand cupped the nape of Ianto´s neck.

He would have grinned to himself if not focused on giving the other a kiss of a lifetime. But those lips were so alluring, he couldn´t stop.

Prying them open, Jack slid his tongue within the welcoming warm cavity until his tongue was seeking for Ianto´s and stroked it gently before his body moved a couple steps closer to the other, his chest pressing to the younger man´s as he did so.

“Want me to stop?” He asked when pulling away for air. Ianto wasn’t fighting him off, but he wasn´t actually responding either. Until all of a sudden Jack felt the other´s hands cupping his face to kiss him deeply and passionately, to which he replied by deepening the kiss as much as he could possibly manage.

Their bodies rubbed against each other´s next to the counter, Jack´s thigh, somehow ended up rubbing against the other´s groin and he ran his hand down Ianto´s cheek and the middle of his chest as the other man moaned in his arms.

He knew this man, he´d never seen him before in his life, but he knew him.

Tugging off Ianto´s t-shirt, he ran both his hands over the pale, taught chest eliciting delightful sounds from the other, just before his own clothes started being tugged away and off until they were pooling around him on the floor.

Jack had never felt anything like this before, sure he’s been horny and needful, but this, this felt like fire igniting from his very core, threatening to consume him. He couldn’t help wanting, needing more.

Ianto pushed him against the counter and shifting him in his place, Jack felt his pants pulled down. A loud groan of pleasure escaped his parted lips as he felt the other’s cock sliding between his arse cheeks, rubbing against the clenching entrance to his body, “Ah fuck,” He muttered pressing his hands flat to the marble beneath them.

“We need, need,” Jack couldn’t actually speak, feeling Ianto rubbing himself against him, stroking him the way he was doing…

“Oil, in the cupboard,” Ianto muttered.

Hearing the husky voice against his earlobe, Jack soon felt himself pushed against the opposite counter and Ianto´s hand and fingers were soon sliding between his arse cheeks.

The tip of his finger was rubbing against the entrance to his body and Jack spread his legs as much as he could manage, with his pants around his ankles until Ianto pushed the tip inside.

His entire being trembled with anticipation and soon, a surprisingly skilful finger started stretching him whilst rubbing against his prostate.

Ianto´s hand was forming a steady ring around his cock and balls, making Jack wonder if this guy was the same guy he´d been talking to minutes ago.

He had seemed so… proper and now he was quite literally rocking him off his feet and about to shag him senseless.

Jack’s body pushed against Ianto´s fingers as he managed to slide three within his body, pumping them in and out freely until Jack was a whimpering mess.

Reaching behind, Jack’s fingers gripped on Ianto´s side and looked over his shoulder pleadingly.

Soon, the fingers were replaced but the large pulsing member and all Jack could do was gasp at the intrusion, it felt bigger than it looked, and Jack himself was quite experienced, “Fuck me hard,” he commanded and Ianto chuckled behind him, “Please?” Jack added trying his charm, but Ianto just raised an eyebrow at him and kept on moving slow.

“AH FUCK,” Jack screamed because the slow pace was literally, driving him insane. He had not a bastard clue as to how Ianto could actually have this much self control.

Looking over his shoulder, Jack paid no attention to his trembling arms, barely holding him to the counter and noticed sweat had broken on the other´s brow, sticking to his hair and sliding down the side of his face to the middle of his chest where the droplets managed to find their resting place.

He was the definition of Sin. Ianto Jones was the definition of Sin, and Jack couldn’t feel luckier that he’d crossed with him that night, not even if he tried.

“Please,” he pleaded; a thing that was quite uncommon for him because he usually got his way when it came to his lovers, but Ianto was determined in taking his sweet time.

That hard cock pumping in and out so slowly from within him, hitting his spot with each move… Jack’s legs had begun to tremble. Something, that made him feel thankful when Ianto wrapped his other arm over his chest, holding him safe and steady.

Jack couldn’t remember when was the last time, if ever, someone made him feel this vulnerable before. His head lolled backwards to rest against the other’s shoulder, and everything narrowed to the action of gasping for air, as he felt he couldn’t really breathe anymore.

He was feeling high with out any use of drugs, not that Jack used drugs. But he had tried them; long ago… this was by far the one thing he felt he could get addicted to.

“Want to come?”

The husky voice purred to his ear, Jack simply nodded, or tried to as a guttural sound escaped his parted lips.

Ianto started thrusting harder, driving his hard on into Jack’s body, impaling him freely just as his hand began to stroke him with matching movements until Jack started coming whilst feeling Ianto filling him up with his seed.

So messy, yet so good… he could feel the other’s come spilling down his thighs even before his body wavered, only to be caught in the other’s arms.

Feeling himself pressed to the cold marble, Jack rested his cheek against it whilst trying to recover his breath and a wide grin formed on his lips when feeling the other’s hand stroking his arm and back in a soothing manner.

“You, you shag all strangers like this?” He had to ask, even though for an unknown reason, he didn’t dare look back. He didn’t want to hear a ´yes´ to his question. He really didn’t.

“Don´t think I ever shagged anyone this way in my entire life,” Came the throaty reply, and Jack closed his eyes.

“I´ve got an hour and half tops. Let´s take you to bed, I guess the cab can wait that long. Even more so, if we take into consideration we never really did make the call.” Ianto said.

Nodding absently, Jack allowed Ianto to help him stand up again and gathered his clothes from the other’s hands as they were handed over.

After fastening his pants enough for him to be able to walk, Jack followed Ianto into the rather luxurious yet minimalist bedroom and dropped himself onto the bed.

He smiled when Ianto removed his pants and socks, even his boxers until he was naked under the sheets and looked at him with daze clouded eyes just before sleep took over him.

Waking up from his daze, Jack blinked a couple times whilst rubbing his eyes. The room was dark, as it always was. He hated the sunlight first thing in the morning…

The aroma or recently brewed coffee was sweeping into the bedroom yet one more time. Humming to himself, he shifted in his place and rested his hand on his chest.

He realized a smile was lingering on his lips, and it soon turned into a grin when recalling his dream.

He knew none of it had been real, it had all been way too perfect, too good… was it possible that his stranger would finally have a face after all?

Would he be real? Was it someone he saw? The name, he remembered the name… Ianto Jones. The Museum!

He ´had´ to find out.

Getting up from the bed he stumbled, for his clothes were on the floor, no surprise (he´d kicked them off in his sleep) and headed for the shower.

Grabbing a quick one, he went around and about his apartment until making it to the kitchen, the aroma of coffee was still there, he could smell it. As if someone had just prepared it, but there was no one there.

He wasn’t at the other man’s place, but at his own. How he’d gotten there, he had no clue. Well, he was starting to think he was getting too carried away by his dream to be coherent enough, but he couldn’t help it, he had to find out!

Once he was done, he left his apartment and got to his car, driving towards the museum he made it by lunch time. He went to ask one of the statues that gave information about the man of his dreams… the man, which was the same man from ALL his dreams…

ALL his life, he’s dreamt of him. Only that now, he had a face, a name… someone he could try work on finding!

His mood was moving from feeling stupid and naïve to being actually hopeful.

“No, I don´t want to know how to make it to the Natural History department, I want to know how to make it to the Archives,” He said to the statue which replied with a blank, droid alike answer. “NO, the archives!” He said feeling about to throw a temper tantrum and hitting the bloody statue.

They were meant to be there for information, what could be more important than this?!

“ARCHIVES!” He yelled at it, and was about to hit it when feeling someone tapping on his shoulder. “Look, I just want to make it to the archives. This droid must be needing some repair,” He said, whilst turning to face the most likely to be security officer, though his eyes widened when noticing the man standing behind him.

Jack grinned as he spun around to face Ianto, he felt as if he would have won the galactic lottery, the jackpot in the Vegas galaxy.

“I was going to offer you some coffee, but you seemed like needing a break from caffeine right now.”

Jack laughed and hugged Ianto tight. He didn’t mind he was acting like a lunatic, he just felt he needed to. He wanted to, and heavens, it felt so right and safe. “You’re real!”

“I was last time I checked,” Ianto chuckled and wrapped an arm around the other’s body to return the embrace, even though he was holding the mug off.

Noticing Ianto was holding the mug away, not to stain his suit Jack locked eyes with him.

“Do you remember me?”

“You are quite difficult to forget.”

“Did last night?” Jack asked now feeling confused, had it being a dream?

“Happened? Yes, it did. You were just terribly sleepy when I had to leave for work, so I offered you a ride to your apartment. After getting there you got, let´s say- grabby, so I stripped you, distracted you and you went back to sleep. I got to work.”

“Oh,” Jack said feeling sheepish now, so that explained the blowjob dream then, “Well I woke up, and I was wondering… if you would like someday… or when you´re all done here. Dinner… movie?”

“Are you, asking me out on a date?”

“Interested?” Jack asked, noticing the surprise in the other´s voice.

“Well, as long as we manage to stay dry.”

Jack smiled tentatively at the reply, his eyes searching the other’s for the confirmation to Ianto´s reply. Was he just agreeing to it because he feared Jack would end up acting like a psycho? A real one, not the mild version of wanting to punch the statue that was…

“Ianto, we need you. Something just arrived,” A handsome man named Cedric, came looking for him.

“Will be right there,” Ianto assured with a nod and a polite smile, “I have to,” he pointed out towards Cedric.

Jack nodded his head once and smiled hopefully at the other, “By the way, was that a yes?”

“Yes, yes,” Ianto´s voice replied sheepishly. “It’s just, you didn’t strike me as the kind of guy who would go out on a date.”

Jack frowned, hummed and bit his lower lip in though. “Truth to be told? I’m not. But I would like going out on a date with you,” He admitted. Why wouldn’t he want to go on a date with this man? It was the man of his dreams. Literally! And he looked really good in a suit…

“Right, well, I have… work,” Ianto pointed out and got his communication device from his pocket, something that had evolved from cell phones, laptops and iPods among others, “Give me your number. I’ll call you, you’ll get mine and I’ll have yours so I know whenever you call,” He offered and after the device registered it, Ianto smiled when it tweeted and nodded.

“Dinner and movie tonight?”

“You don’t waste time, do you?”

Jack shot Ianto one of those dashing grins of his and shock his head, “You should already know by now, that I don’t.”

“Right, ok. Hmm, call me around five thirty. I should be able to know how I’m doing in the archives by then. It’s meant to be an easy day. So I’m guessing there will be no problems.”

“Will do that,” Jack said whilst double checking he had saved Ianto´s number and e-mail on his own communication device, “I’ll see you later then.”

“See you later Jack.”

Jack allowed himself to get lost in the other´s eyes and smile until; Ianto had to head back to work. Ianto walking away was almost as good a view, as Ianto walking towards one, such a sinful distracting view. That man should come with a warning… ´not work safe´

Turning to make it out and plan their ´date´ Jack couldn’t help but being utterly amused at himself at the idea of a ´date´ but he was really looking forward to it, and as he made it down the stairs, he looked at a CCTV camera that was next to the stairs as if able to hear someone’s voice in the back of his mind.

“I ´will´ find you… I will keep on doing it forever, until the end of time.”

Jack had no idea what this was, someone he’d met in a previous life? Love at first sight? He didn’t know, he didn’t believe in re-incarnation but truth to be told, this was probably as close as it would ever get for him to believe that despite everything, even death itself. One would always find that one person who would knock you off your feet and show you what the meaning of ´true love´ really meant.

The End.
