Slightly belated announcement, for any who haven't heard
Things you probably shouldn't say to new parents: "You can tell he's a boy. . . . he is a boy, right?"
Fortunately, yes, it's a boy, and his name is Alexander Josiah. He was born at 1:07 PM on the 16th of July, weighing 7lbs 14oz, after nine hours of labour and two rounds of paracetamol. He's pretty cute: I think we'll be keeping him.

One of the managers at work didn't realise I was pregnant until yesterday, and then only because somebody brought it up.
Seriously. Mate. I'm due to have this baby in six weeks. I waddle when I walk. My face turns red when I try to bend over. Little old ladies with canes overtake me going up the stairs. How did you not know this ( Read more... ) -

I haven't cooked since I got pregnant. Haven't cooked, haven't washed dishes, basically haven't set foot in the kitchen, because kitchen smells tend to make me throw up.
However, today David started work, which meant I was forced to fend for myself. It's been an exciting day, and from my experience I have compiled . . .

Well, I got admitted to BYU (first-choice college); however, since my application was ABSURDLY slightly late, the admission is for winter semester instead of fall.
This basically creates more problems than it solves. Ugh, college. -
