I'm glad that the service went well, I'll hope that your grandmother's situation is soon settled and I'm happy to hear that you're home safe.

As for politics -- it does feel as if we're on the verge of something wonderful. May it be!

I'm glad the memorial went well, and that you got to see your family.

A new day has come. I hope we're able to continue that feeling of hope and willingness to get things done past Obama's first week or so in office.

Thanks so much. Yeah, it's really tough to see her like that; probably worse because I don't get to see her too often so it's more noticeable how her memory has deteriorated, though there are still moments when she's aware and has all the personality she ever had.
