If you want a real wand-- and you don't mind waiting for it--
Take a look at Dragonmother Wand Works. Tell her you want Olive wood, even though she doesn't have it showing in her site, because I know she has some... Tell her I sent you, and she should give you the 'fandom' discount!

Eh, it was just establishing myself as a new patient (always good to have a primary care person, not just an ob-gyn) and setting up to get some tests/immunizations/etc. No biggie, although I have a nice sore arm now from the tetanus booster...

:( I hate the tetanus booster. I think I'm not due for two or three more years.

I don't have an ob currently. I barely have a PCP.

I couldn't actually remember when I'd last had a tetanus shot, and therefore concluded it was probably time!
