*vbg* This is the first boy car I've owned. My previous cars had girl names (the first car was Josephine, although I never had a plate to indicate it). Don't ask me what makes it a boy car, that's just my impression for some reason.

Cool - I have always had many ideas for license plates, but I am always so shocked by the price of a basic ugly one I just skip it every time. I also have a small gray Honda Fit and that is the perfect name!

My state is weird, you pay the regular plate cost (and actually GET the regular plate, which must be kept in the car somewhere), and then can pay another $20-25, I forget exactly, to get the vanity plate. But we also only have plates in back, not one in front also, which might make it cheaper.

I am afraid of losing my vision too. I am on the computer constantly, and I used to have really sharp vision but have recently started wearing glasses. Hopefully we will both be okay. *hugs*

I've worn glasses (or, for a while in my teens and twenties, contacts) since I was six. Bifocals are in my future, I have no doubt.

Oh god I feel you about the fear of losing your sight! I use both glasses and hearing aids and because of my hearing impairment I'm extremely visual - to the point where I simply don't hear what's being said if I can't see the person I'm speaking to. I'd rather lose my hearing ten times over before losing my sight - I can cope without hearing, but I can't cope without sight.

I'd like to do this meme too! I'll be 28 in December.
