Got home at 12:15 am last night/this morning; have spent today buying groceries/doing laundry/minor cooking, plus a book club meeting and lots of quality dog time. *g

Yeah, I had one day for recovery, then back to work. Just couldn't take any more time off...

Sadly it was not a low-key Monday as one of my staff resigned unexpectedly (got a job with significantly more pay, so I can't blame them). But I have now cleared out my inbox, at least!

Hurray! I often find it takes so long to do that (certainly if I go away mid-semester even just for a day or two) that I wonder grumpily whether it was worth going away in the first place...
