Good to hear from you, have wondered. Fabulous diet news; you should be so proud. Great work and tough to do. Glad Juno is better. Yuck, I detest house repairs and yours have been a huge PITA. Thanks for keeping in touch with your minions ;)
Dieting is definitely tough! I am promising myself the reward of a piece of Popeye's fried chicken and biscuit once I hit my goal, then it's back to being good. ;-)
Awesome work on the diet! Personally I find jeans shopping worse than bra shopping, but it's a close-run thing. Work is also eating my life at the moment so I can sympathise on that.
Jeans thankfully I purchase through an online retailer; my major requirement for jeans is that the waist be located at or near my actual waistline, and my second requirement is that they not be skin-tight. This limits my choices considerably and I buy "old lady" jeans, although no elastic in the waistband. ;-)
I'm glad to hear you've been so successful at reaching your goal weight! Ok, I know you're not QUITE there, but almost. Do you feel the plan you're using is sustainable, to keep the weight where you'd like? Also glad to hear that Juno is healthy and happy again. *pets*
We joined a CSA for the first time this year, and I'm nervous about dealing with unexpected produce. I would have no idea what to do with beets, turnips and radishes, for instance, as nobody here eats any of those things that I'm aware of, and we don't see my FIL regularly enough to hand them to him. Well, we'll see what the farmer comes up with - it's her first year doing CSA, too.
What sort of responsibilities will you have in the summer?
I think it's sustainable; I'm basically following the South Beach Diet which is what my doctor recommended, and it's quite well balanced. I need to start being a little more careful of carb amounts though
( ... )
Wow, congrats on the weight loss! Very impressive.
I have not been on LJ much of late either -- insanely busy, and my new fandom (hockey RPF) is keeping me more at AO3, Tumblr, Twitter, and various sports blogs. I miss LJ though.

Thank you! Btw, I am making those almond-sesame crisps every week or two - very popular in my house!
