Nearly at the end of a very long, busy, and stressful week... just one more day (which will be a semi-short work day, as I have yet another doctor's appointment in the morning so won't get to campus till probably about 10 am).

one guy freaks out if he gets a single dog hair on his suit coat

Ok, unless he's the biggest bigwig at his job or is severely allergic to dogs, that's just uncalled for. It means he gets to drive twice, and let SO off the hook so he doesn't have to come anywhere near any dog hair. :-P

Ugh to heat. Hope a) you have a/c at home and b) that you can sleep better this weekend.

He's basically an aristocrat - from one of the Middle Eastern countries, I believe (I've never met him) and from a very wealthy high-class family. (What he is doing as a mid-level administrator at a regional university in this state is another question.) But in essence he grew up entitled and never seems to have moved beyond that.

We do have AC at home, plus I run the fan at night. And I got to drive my own car today, whee! Thanks!

That is what a sheet or blanket is for - to cover the seat and dog hair! Super-crybaby-picky man needs to get over it, and sit on the sheet... no reason for SO to cater to that crap.

I agree 100%, but he's the one who has to drive with these guys every day, so it's his call.
