Visit, Black Friday, and holiday gifts generally

Did not participate in this, really. We went to the Art Museum (good exhibit on a local artist who did social art in the 30s), and out to dinner. Today we're going to my favorite hamburger joint in the world (seriously), the zoo, and then the symphony. Yay

I have been putting off writing our Christmas letter for about a fortnight - which is ridiculous because it really ought only to take me about an hour if I grit my teeth and get on with it...
