I love how all the dishonesty gives Charles a headache. But I especially love how he is genuinely surprised when she kisses him, because one would imagine that so little can surprise a man like Charles. Sweet.

Bryce constantly surprises Charles because in many ways she's a lot like Erik and then not at all, also he doesn't read her at her request. Their relationship in RP usually feels more like a weird business relationship with some friendship, so attraction rarely plays into it. That's why they're so tough to write together but I will figure it out someday. Oh and for helpful imagining purposes, Bryce's face is Kate Beckinsale.
