I did, thankfully they seemed to have arrived before all the rain as they were inside and dry. My amazon package was a little damp.

Also I'm sure you gave me your address another year so I have it somewhere.

That all sounds great. I kind of love that you have a visit with your dad's friend every year - it's nice to have old traditions like that. It's also cool you got to pick your dad's brain in regards to Charles Xavier. Though, you made me tired just reading this post - wow that is a lot of stuff to do in one weekend! I enjoyed my "sitting around doing nothing" Thanksgiving.

I'm going to call you tomorrow about this weekend.

Well, it was a week but yes, it was a lot. It was one of those breaks when I was incredibly glad to be back home from.

Yay! In terms of timing, I work online at 9 pm but otherwise have nothing planned for tomorrow so a talk should work.

Yes, John is wonderful and I love seeing him. I was so happy that my dad wanted to talk about it as I've been curious but it's also fanfic so weird. Soon I will post that dream fic story. It needs another look over by someone else's eyes and some polishing.
