Oooooh, I wanna go to that exhibit!

Eating raw gingerbread dough and feeling kind of queasy afterwards, but in that delightful "I know that was bad for me but damn, it was fun!" kind of way.

Oh man, I totally know how you're feeling. Either tis the season or I'm majorly stress (or bore?) baking because in the past week, I've made gingerbread men, choc chip cookies and shortbread. Soooo much butter.

GO! It costs $10 though. (I wonder how long I can stretch my uni card out for?)

Your tastebuds and arteries are both competing to see which can wail loudest. One from joy, one from anguish.

What's this about Rove and the American ABC?

Here's the article! I want to watch it, actually - 'cause everyone secretly loves 20 to 1, right? ;)

Thanks for the link. I want to watch it too. I don't want Rove to move to the US permanently. I love Rove. Well, I love Carrie at the News Desk. And yes, even I secretly love 20 to 1, though we spend the whole show wanting to shoot Bert in the head. He's so not funny. Ever.

No worries! I'm hoping they'll buy the rights to air it here (ABC tends to have an affiliation with Channel 7, despite Rove being contracted with Ten). And I don't usually watch Rove I'll admit - if there's a guest on I want to see I'll watch it, otherwise I end up YouTubing most of the bits. But I have a definite soft spot for the guy.

20 to 1 is like addictive crack. You just have to see the options they list and what ends up being #1!

I'm commenting literally just to say that I adore your icon. Makes me want to watch Moulin Rouge again. I adore those two.

(Oh, I hope you don't mind that I've been popping in and reading your real journal entries after reading your fics. It's not in a creepy stalker way, I swear - it's more of a 'you seem cool' kind of way) :)

Why, thank you! Baz Luhrmann basically rocks my world. (Along with Tina Fey, but that kind of goes without saying.)

Not at all, it's pretty much why I keep it public, 'cause there's people that drop in and out. ;) I just talk about a lot of fandomy, trivial things, really!

Whee for Alicia Keys. I got sick of her after the second album but it's growing on me again. I just got the third studio album from the library because I really can't be bothered to buy it.

I don't even have many of her songs! So it was a complete surprise to go, but I had a blast. Her vocals are just as amazing live as they are recorded, unlike some. ;)

Setting the Screen sounds great! I might go and see that too! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

I found it really fascinating. And I feel a bit sorry for ACMI and how no one seems to ever go to it, heh. (It does cost $15 for adults though, just thought I'd warn you.)
