Hey, remember when I used to post because I had an essay due in six hours that I hadn't written yet and I just needed another excuse to procrastinate and have a gif party?

It's so nice to know that, two years out of uni, the procrastination post still hasn't gone out of fashion. (Am currently trying to finish off the new curriculum I'm supposed to be teaching three and four year olds tomorrow but I. can't. be. bothered.)

Random, but every time I hear "Hey Soul Sister" on the radio I just think of Super Party Soul Sisters.

30 Rock is still oh-so-glorious. Adding Michael Sheen? Tips it over the edge as being one of the BEST THINGS EVER. With epic!hugs. Jackie D can approach me for landing any time, justsoyouknow. And Alice is so big now, I can't believe it.

The Boy and I are having our first baby - in the form of a kitten. (OH C'MON GUYS WHAT DID YOU THINK I WAS TALKING ABOUT?) We've currently got his sister's cat while she lives on uni campus, but come July when the house renovations are finished we're wanting one of our own.

This is Simba, whom we're babykittysitting for now:

He's, like, the most beautiful feline. We're on the waiting list for another like him (though female), but we're thinking of names already. A logical choice would be Nala, plus it's such a pretty name (although, Halle Berry, I'm still not decided if I like it for humans) but I'm open to suggestions. Anyone? Anyone? Buellllerrrrr.

I've got The Boy hooked on Desperate Housewives. He only came in this season, but he loves it. Last night whilst watching: "Ohhh. Is it over already?" It made me laugh hysterically to see such a sad face.

Queensland weather is so odd. Really thick, heavy rain will suddenly come pelting down out of nowhere and then stop two minutes later like it never happened. In patches. You can see the clouds in the horizon that are raining, it's so surreal. True story: we have two little terraces and on one it was pouring, the other one (ten metres away) was bone dry. WTFIDEK. (Today we accidentally drove in the less-than-24-hours-old-brand-new Clem7 tunnel because Brisbane roads are really confusing and we took a wrong turn. Ha ha ha.)

Sigh. Better get back to work. I think I'm going to have Breaking Free from High School Musical in my head for the next week. WE'RE SOARING, FLYING, THERE'S NOT A STAR IN HEAVEN THAT WE CAN'T REACH. LA LA LAAAAA. How is it that I've hardly seen the films but I know the songs? Bloody children.
