Heh, I'm not sure if I'll be much help in deciding or answering anything. I tend to hold onto my dreams VERY lightly - I'm surprised and amazed and quite often terrified when one of them threatens to come true. Dreams are usually my way of filling time, of jazzifying my world, a sort of mental exercise. That being said, I'm probably the closest I've been to seriously pursuing my dreams in a loooooong time. I'm not sure WHEN you say quit on a dream, though. I don't think you ever really do, or should. That's not to say that dream should remain unCHANGED, though. Sometimes you distill it, find what it really is out of that specific dream that you still want - is it the feeling of contentment, or the color of the walls in your dreamhouse, or the freedom to do-what-you-want that more cash would give you? Dreams usually have that kernel of truth to them that stays unchanged, and questioning the dream as a whole usually means it's time to dig in and find out what that is, slough off the shit you don't need or want anymore ( ... )
