She had been out all day actually, mostly just because this was her favorite type of weather and not because she had any actual errands to run. It was easy to occupy herself though, doing some light shopping before dropping off her mum's old watch at the jewelers to be cleaned and rewound, one of the only pieces of jewelry she actually ever bothered to wear. It was important to her to make sure that the piece was kept up in 'like new' condition.
But now she was headed back to The Leaky, an iced green tea in her hand, when she smacked right into somebody else on the street.
"Bullocks! I'm so sorry-" she muttered, not even realizing that it was (of course) Cecilia Jacobs who she had run into.
"Oh- hey. Are you okay?"

"Of course- yes," she said, offering her a polite smile.
When was the last time she had seen Susan? It must had been years, maybe- right before she and Gabriel had finally ended things. She had hardly spent any time with his friends, the small group of them not exactly her biggest fans. She hadn't blamed them, really.
"Susan- it's um- it's good to see you-" she offered lamely.

The two of them hadn't actually ever had a conversation before, nothing more than just passing greetings in the hallways of the hospital or those awkward moments she'd show up to Gabe's flat to see him and Cecilia was on her way out.
"Oh, yeah-" she said, nodding. "Great to see you too. You look well-"

"You too-" she told her.
And she meant it. She always did think Susan had such a pretty and natural beauty to her. Especially when she smiled.
Though, it was rare Cecilia saw that in her presence.
"I um, I heard about you and Gabe-" she said then, not bothering to beat around the bush. "I think that's really great-"
